Large Assembly of Downtown Kingston Property Sold to Local Developer

    KINGSTON, ON - April 25, 2018

Rogers & Trainor Commercial Realty Inc. has recently completed a transaction in downtown Kingston that involves the purchase of 13 individual properties. This is believe to be one of the largest real estate transactions in the downtown Kingston area in many years. The properties are bordered by Sydenham Street, Colborne Street and Queen Street.

The properties were purchased by a local Kingston developer who plans to continue to maintain the properties in their current form, as residential rentals. The purchaser who also owns the property on the west side of the block, on Clergy Street, now owns the entire city block. This is a unique land holding in downtown Kingston as no other owner, other than the City of Kingston, can make such a claim. The agent involved, Gary Croke, Broker, said “the transaction was the result of a willing Buyer and Seller and the deal was completed without any issues.”

The deal closed on March 30, 2018.

Originally founded in 1997, Rogers & Trainor has since grown to become Eastern Ontario’s largest full service independent commercial real estate brokerage. Rogers & Trainor is comprised of 13 registered agents and 2 support staff. It specializes in commercial real estate along the Eastern Ontario Corridor from Port Hope to Cornwall, with an office in Kingston, Ontario.
